Ingredients  

  • 2 boneless, skinless turkey thighs Granny’s
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ cup tomatoes seeded and finely chopped
  • ¼ cup kalamata olives pitted and diced small
  • ¼ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 tbsp Italian parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F | 190°C).
  • Remove skin and bones from turkey thighs and cut into 3/4 inch (2 cm) steaks. Coat each steak with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Mix garlic, anchovies, tomato, olives, feta, oregano, parsley and pepper in a bowl.
  • Grill turkey thighs on one side over direct heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Flip each steak and move to indirect heat. Divide topping mixture equally between each steak.
  • Continue cooking for about 15 minutes until steaks are fully cooked. The meat should reach a minimum internal temperature of 170°F (77°C).
