Ingredients  

  • 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 2 medium jalapeños chopped
  • ¼ cup parsley optional
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ¼ cup cheese low fat, grated
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup light cream cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • In a large bowl, add all ingredients except cream cheese. Mix well.
  • Cut cream cheese into small cubes/squares and add them into meatball mix. Lightly mix them in.
  • Roll approximately 20 meatballs with your mix and spread them evenly across a baking tray.
  • Place meatballs in the oven and bake for 20-22 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165° F.

Tips & Tricks

Serve with salsa as a dipping sauce. You may also serve with rice, noodles or potatoes for a heartier meal. Give the meatballs a quick spray or glaze of olive or coconut oil before baking if you want a crispier finish.
