Ingredients  

Turkey

  • 2 package turkey wings Granny’s
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup red onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp ancho chili powder
  • ½ tsp ground chipotle pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat (375°F | 190°C).
  • In a deep roasting pan cover wings with water until the wings are 3/4 covered.
  • Loosely cover pan with foil and cook over indirect heat for 1 hour.
  • Remove wings from barbecue and pour off excess juice from wings and discard.
  • Mix wings with all other ingredients in a large cast iron pan.
  • Cook over direct heat for approximately 45-60 minutes, stirring and turning wings occasionally. The wings are fully cooked when a thermometer probe reads 170°F (77°C).
