Ingredients  

  • 2 lbs turkey breasts
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp dried garlic
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Rinse turkey breast and pat dry.
  • Drizzle and coat turkey breast with maple syrup.
  • Combine seasonings and sprinkle all over breast. Top and bottom. Let sit in the fridge uncovered skin side up for 1 – 4 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • On a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, place turkey skin side up and loosely cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, then uncover and continue to bake for another 20 minutes until skin is golden and crispy and internal temp reaches 165 F.
  • Let rest on sheet pan for 20 minutes, then transfer to cutting board and thinly slice.
  • Keep the cooking jus from the parchment paper and pour over the turkey.

Tips & Tricks

The key here is low and slow. Lower your temperature, and increase your cooking time.
