Ingredients  

  • 1 lb ground turkey Granny’s
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 2 tsp shallot minced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper  
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat a heavy bottomed frying pan to medium-low.
  • Combine all ingredients except oil. Form into 8-10 patties that are approximately 1.5 cm (1/2”) thick.
  • Fry patties 5-10 minutes per side in olive oil. Turkey patties are fully cooked when a thermometer inserted into the patty reads 170⁰F (77⁰C).
