Ingredients  

For the turkey burgers

  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground turkey
  • ¼ cup red onions diced
  • 2 tbsp garlic minced
  • ¼ cup parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • ¼ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper  
  • 5 brioche buns

Jalapeno Sriracha Mayo

  • 1 ½ tbsp jalapeño peppers chopped
  • 2 scallions finely chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 ½ tbsp sriracha hot sauce

For Garnish

  • ½ cup pickled carrots shredded
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
  • ¼ cup parsley chopped

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the turkey burgers.
  • Form 5 roughly equal sized patties ½  inch thick, then transfer to a hot lightly oiled grill or non-stick pan. Cook on both sides for 3-5 mins each; until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • In a small bowl combine ingredients for jalapeno sriracha mayo, mix thoroughly.
  • Grill the inside of the brioche buns.
  • Assemble the turkey burger with the jalapeno sriracha mayo, pickled carrots, fresh cilantro, parsley or any of your favourite toppings. Enjoy!
