Roasted Turkey Legs

Ingredients  

  • 4 lb turkey cut into pieces

For the marinade

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt or herb salt
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • freshly cracked black pepper   to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Combine the ingredients for the marinade.
  • Massage the marinade well into the turkey.
  • Marinate for at least 1 hour (up to overnight).
  • Place the turkey pieces skin-side down on large sheet pan.
  • Roast for 1 hour and 20 minutes (or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F) — flip the pieces halfway through.

Tips & Tricks

Optional – add a bed of potatoes to the pan for the last 30 minutes of cooking
