Turkey Rangoon Dip with Crispy Wonton Chips

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cream cheese softened slightly in microwave 30-60 seconds
  • ¼ cup Japanese Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups turkey meat cooked, shredded or small-diced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded, separated
  • 1 tsp chives for garnish
  • 1 package Wonton wrappers cut diagonally into two
  • 3 cups high heat oil or enough to come up ¾” in your vessel

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • Whisk softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, sriracha, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, and garlic powder until very smooth. Fold in turkey meat and half the mozzarella cheese.
  • Scoop into 3-cup oven-safe baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in pan or dutch oven to 350-375° F and fry wonton wrapper triangles, briefly on each side until golden. It’s quick so do them in small batches of 5-6. Cool on paper towel. (TO BAKE instead of frying, spray wrappers with oil on both sides. Bake at 350° F in single layer for 5 minutes or until golden).
  • Sprinkle with salt. When dip is ready, garnish with chives and serve with wonton chips. Enjoy!
