Herbed Turkey Rub

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp onion minced
  • 4 tsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 4 tsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 4 tsp garlic minced

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well. Let sit for 30 minutes for flavours to mix.
  • Coat either a whole turkey or turkey cuts with rub.
  • Roast or barbecue turkey until a digital thermometer read 170°F (77°C) in the thickest part of the meat away from any bones.
  • Let turkey rest (cover with a loose tent of foil) in a warm place for 15-20 minutes before carving.

Notes

This recipe is portioned for a whole turkey. You should half this recipe if using 1-3 turkey cuts, such as a breast, thigh or drumstick.
