Turkey Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package turkey breasts Granny’s boneless, skinless, cut into small cubes
  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta dried
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic finely chopped
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp Italian parsley coarsely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil, cook pasta until al dente and then drain reserving a half cup of the water.
  • Heat oil and butter in a large skillet. Add turkey and brown meat. Remove turkey from pan and set aside.
  • Add garlic to pan and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add cream and bring to a simmer. Once the sauce starts to thicken, add turkey.
  • Add reserved pasta sauce to reach desired sauce consistency. Mix well.
  • Add pasta and Parmesan cheese, parsley and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper and serve.
