Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey Granny's
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • cup shallot finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic finely chopped
  • 2 cups baby spinach fresh packed, finely chopped
  • ½ cup 35% whipping cream
  • ¾ cup white aged cheddar cheese shredded
  • ¾ cup smoked cheddar shredded
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly cracked black pepper  
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup 14% sour cream

To Serve

  • sourdough Bread made into a bowl, optional
  • paprika

Instructions
 

  • Sauté turkey, shallots and garlic in canola oil in a medium sized pot over medium-high heat until lightly browned.
  • Add spinach and cream. Stir and continue cooking until spinach is cooked and cream is simmering.
  • Remove from heat and add cheeses, sea salt, ground black pepper, mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted. Fold in sour cream.
  • Spoon mixture into a sourdough bread bowl and sprinkle with paprika

Notes

Ensure to remove the dip from the heat before adding the cheeses, spices, sauce and sour cream. The dip will separate if kept on the heat.
