For the Burgers
4burger buns
4slicessharp cheddar cheese
lettuce
mayonnaiseor any other sauce of your choice
tomatoessliced
onionssliced
pickles
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon (or your hands) until well combined.
Shape into 4 patties, about 2 inches thick.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will ensure the patties keep their shape and make them extra juicy!
How to cook the burgers:
BBQ: Preheat BBQ to medium-high heat and grill patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are no longer pink inside. Add cheese on top of the patties at the last minute to get perfectly melted.
Air Fryer: Cook the turkey burgers at 370 degrees for 7 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Assembling the Burgers:
Start by adding a piece of lettuce, then the patty, cheese, a slice of tomato, pickles, and onions. Dress with any other condiments and sauces of your choice.
