20-Minute Gluten Free Mexican Turkey Pasta

- 1 package chickpea pasta 8 oz, cooked according to package instructions
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3 turkey sausages meat removed from casing, I used spicy red pepper
- ⅓ cup fresh salsa prepared, spice preference is your choice
- 2 limes zest and juice
- ⅓ cup cilantro chopped
- 1 tsp salt
Boil water for pasta and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Heat oil in a skillet on medium high heat and add the turkey sausage; cook for 10 minutes until the meat is cooked through. By this time the pasta should be ready.
Add the pasta, salsa, lime zest + pulp and cilantro leaves and season to taste.
Combine and serve hot.
