1 cup (8 oz package) cream cheese, softened slightly in microwave 30-60 seconds
¼ cup Japanese or regular mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 Tbsp sriracha
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp packed dark brown sugar
¼ tsp garlic powder
2 cups shredded or small-diced cooked turkey meat
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, separated
1 tsp chopped chives for garnish
1 220g package 2”-square wonton wrappers, cut diagonally into two
3 cups high heat oil, or enough to come up ¾” in your vessel
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Whisk softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, sriracha, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, and garlic powder until very smooth. Fold in turkey meat and half the mozzarella cheese.
Scoop into 3-cup oven-safe baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Meanwhile, heat oil in pan or dutch oven to 350-375° F and fry wonton wrapper triangles, briefly on each side until golden. It’s quick so do them in small batches of 5-6. Cool on paper towel. (TO BAKE instead of frying, spray wrappers with oil on both sides. Bake at 350° F in single layer for 5 minutes or until golden).
Sprinkle with salt. When dip is ready, garnish with chives and serve with wonton chips. Enjoy!
