Cook Time : 2 hrs
  1. Preheat the barbecue to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C).
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large cast iron pan or barbecue safe foil roasting pan.
  3. Cook over indirect or low heat for approximately 2.5 hours, adding moist wood chips in a smoking pan or directly on coals every hour if desired. Stir beans every 30-60 minutes.
  4. When done the beans should have a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper, if required and serve.
